Three Layered Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco or butter
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs, room temperature
    3/4 c. cocoa
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. buttermilk (warm), mixed with baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. boiling water or coffee
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Bake about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
