Mock Champagne Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1 (12 oz.) can strawberry soda
    1 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to directions on box; pour in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake according to directions on box. Let cool, then punch holes in top with fork or ice pick; set aside.
