Holland House Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    2/3 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco or Spry
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flavoring and dry ingredients. Roll dough into small balls, smaller than a walnut.
    Flatten with a glass.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
