Orange Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. orange juice
12 small carrots
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Wash and peel carrots.
Cook in a small amount of boiling salted water until tender.
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Gradually add orange juice and lemon juice.
Add to melted butter and cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Pour sauce over carrots.
Serves 4.
