Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup karo or maple syrup
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecan halves or pieces
A 9 inch pie shell
Preparation

Melt the butter or margarine in a small bowl.
Beat the eggs with vanilla.
In a large bowl combine the sugars, syrup and melted butter.
Add the egg mixture and mix well.
Put pecans in the pie shell and pour in the sugar egg mixture.
Bake at 450\u00b0for 10 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 35 to 45 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean.
