Butterscotch Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    2 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat.
    Remove from heat.
    Add brown sugar and mix well.
    When cool, add beaten eggs, dry ingredients, milk, vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
