Potato Biscuit - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. mashed potatoes
3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add potatoes, stirring lightly.
Add milk and stir until a soft dough is formed.
Turn lightly 10 to 12 times.
Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 1 dozen.
