Chicken Fried Steak And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    crushed cracker crumbs
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    dash of garlic salt
    1 pkg. mushroom gravy mix
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix ground beef with salt and pepper to taste.
    Form into 4 patties.
    Crush cracker crumbs.
    Mix with garlic salt and 1 tablespoon minced onion.
    Beat egg, mix with a little water.
    Dip each patty in egg mixture; then coat with cracker crumbs.
    Fry in skillet over medium-low heat until golden brown.
    Mix mushroom gravy by package directions.
    Serve over hot steak patties.
