Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of celery soup
    2 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chilies (undrained)
    salt to taste
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. American cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cook rice according to directions on box. In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, sour cream, soup, chilies and salt. Stir to blend. In a buttered 13 x 9-inch dish, pour half of the rice mixture. Combine the cheeses and sprinkle half the cheese over the rice. Repeat the layers. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Yield: 8 servings.
