Cranberry Cottage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (1 Tbsp.) unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) carton creamy cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pineapple slices, drained
Preparation
    Sprinkle gelatin over water in a small saucepan.
    Cook and stir over low heat until dissolved.
    Cool slightly.
    Stir in cottage cheese, cranberry sauce and salt.
    Chill until slightly firm.
    Arrange pineapple slices on lettuce-lined platter.
    With an ice cream dipper, scoop out salad mixture and place a mound on each pineapple slice.
    Chill.
    Serves 6.
