C. B. Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onions
2 c. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimento
3 c. cooked chicken
3 c. cooked rice, prepared in chicken broth
3/4 c. chicken broth
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper
2 c. grated cheese
Preparation

Cook onions and celery in butter until tender, but not brown. Stir in mushrooms, pimentos, chicken and cooked rice.
Blend broth and soup.
Stir into chicken mixture.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Turn into a greased 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
