Vanilla Cupcakes(Serves 24) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    confectioners sugar to sprinkle (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Line 24 muffin pans with paper liners or grease pans and dust lightly with flour.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together into bowl.
    In a separate bowl, cream butter; add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
    Beat in egg, one at a time.
    Alternately add flour mixture and milk to egg mixture.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla.
