Turnip Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium turnips, peeled and cubed
    1 c. water
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook turnips in water for 15 - 20 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and mash.
    Add egg, sugar, butter and salt. Mix well.
    Transfer to a greased 1 qt. baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
