Crab Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. crabmeat
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. melted fat or oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. powdered mustard
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
dash of cayenne pepper
1 c. dry bread crumbs
Preparation

Cook onion in fat until tender.
Combine all ingredients except crumbs.
Shape into 12 cakes and roll in crumbs.
Fry in hot oil at moderate heat until brown on one side.
Turn carefully and brown the other side.
Cook 6 to 8 minutes.
