Creole Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small bell pepper, chopped
2 c. canned, stewed tomatoes, mashed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
Preparation

Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.
Add flour, cook until lightly brown.
Add onion and bell pepper, saute until tender.
Remove from heat and combine tomatoes, corn and seasonings; add to flour mixture.
Cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 6.
