Ingredients

1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
dash of ground nutmeg
1 c. buttermilk
1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
Preparation

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and nutmeg, beating at low speed until blended. Add buttermilk, beating well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until pie is set. Cool on a wire rack.
