Ingredients

2 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 sticks melted butter
1/2 c. flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter extract
3 (9-inch) shallow pie crusts
Preparation

Combine sugar and salt, then add remaining ingredients.
Pour into unbaked pie crusts.
Bake slowly at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for 40 to 60 minutes or until done.
Yields 3 pies.
