Chicken Normandy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. seasoned bread stuffing
    1 stick melted margarine
    1 c. water
    2 1/2 c. cooked, diced chicken
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green onion tops
    ??? c. mayonnaise
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. cream of mushroom soup
    4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix stuffing, margarine and water lightly.
    Put half in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix chicken, onions, mayonnaise and salt.
    Put in the pan over bread mixture.
    Top with remaining bread mixture.
    Beat 2 eggs slightly and add 1 1/2
    cups milk. Pour evenly over bread mixture.
    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
    Take out 1 hour before baking.
    Spread 1 can mushroom soup over top.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top.
    Return to oven for 10 minutes.
