Christmas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box spice cake mix
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. sherry or wine
    3 1/2 c. chopped fruit
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix spice cake mix, shortening and boiling water.
    Let stand for 30 minutes.
    Beat and add 2 eggs and sherry.
    Combine the chopped fruit, raisins and nuts.
    Stir into batter.
    Bake in greased and paper lined loaf or tube pan until done at 300\u00b0.
