Curried Fruit Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 (No. 1) can pear halves
    1 (No. 1) can peach halves
    1 (No. 1) can apricots, peeled
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
    5 maraschino cherries
    1/4 c. blanched almonds
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add sugar and curry powder.
    Drain and dry fruit. Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Add butter mixture and sprinkle almonds on top. Bake with oven meal for last 30 minutes.
