Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon (I put a little more in)
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Mix as for any cookie (I generally mix well after each ingredient). Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and dip in sugar. Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 375\u00b0. Bake about 3 minutes longer if you want crisp cookies.
