Chicken And Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box long grain wild rice
2 1/2 c. chopped chicken, cooked
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 c. chopped pimento
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 c. melted butter
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation

Mix salt, onion, celery, green pepper and butter.
Gradually stir in chicken broth and soup.
Cook until thickened.
Cook rice according to package directions including herbs and spices.
Mix sauce, rice and chicken.
Pour in large casserole.
Top with almonds.
Bake 30 minutes at 425\u00b0.
