Ingredients

6 bananas
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
2/3 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. butter
vanilla wafers
Preparation

Cook until thick all ingredients except bananas and wafers. Line pan with wafers then bananas on bottom and sides.
Pour warm mixture over wafers and bananas.
Beat egg whites until stiff; add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar.
Pour over pudding and brown in oven.
