Buffet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    buttered bread crumbs or seasoned croutons, smashed
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes about 45 minutes before assembling.
    Combine potatoes in a large mixing bowl with butter, onions, soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Sprinkle top with crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cover for a while at first.
    Can be made ahead and refrigerated until ready to cook.
