Peppy Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. cooked rice (2/3 c. raw long grain)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut peppers in halves lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and wash. Combine beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can sauce.
    Put mixture into peppers in a large baking dish.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers. Cover tightly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours. Baste occasionally.
