Sauerkraut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can (27 oz.) sauerkraut
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp. sweet and spicy mustard
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 eggs
bread crumbs
flour
vegetable oil
Preparation

Fry sausage and onions, breaking sausage into small pieces, until brown.
Drain.
Drain sauerkraut and squeeze dry.
Add to sausage mixture with 1/4 cup bread crumbs, cream cheese, parsley, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well and chill overnight.
Place flour for coating balls in a pie plate.
Place eggs and 2 tablespoons water in shallow bowl, beating lightly to combine.
