Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Heat chocolate and shortening over low heat, stirring until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Spread in a greased pan.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool and cut into 2-inch squares.
