Carrot Cheddar Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, pared and cut into 1/4-inch coins
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. half and half
    3 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook carrots until tender; drain.
    Place the carrots into 8 x 10-inch buttered baking dish.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the carrots.
    Bake for 45 minutes or until hot and puffy.
    Cut into squares to serve.
    Makes about 4 to 6 servings.
