Foolproof Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Roll dough onto foil or wax paper, making a log.
    Chill at least 1 hour.
    Slice 1/2-inch thick and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
