Czechoslovakian Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. margarine, soft
4 egg yolks
1 c. your favorite preserves, jam or jelly
confectioners sugar
2 c. granulated sugar
4 c. flour
1 c. nuts or coconut (optional)
Preparation

Cream the margarine and sugar, beating until fluffy.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.
Beat in flour. With floured hands, pat half of dough into well-greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.
Spread preserves over dough. Sprinkle nuts or coconut over preserves.
Pat remaining dough over mixture in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool completely, one hour or more in pan.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Cut into small squares or bars.
