Rice With Pine Nuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. beef stock or chicken broth
1 1/2 c. long grain white rice
1 stick butter
1/3 c. pine nuts or pecans
1/3 c. golden raisins
Preparation

Bring stock to a boil.
Add rice and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cover and simmer 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
Heat remaining butter until slightly bubbly.
Add nuts and saute only until lightly browned.
Pour nuts and butter over rice.
Add raisins and fluff mixture with a fork.
Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
