Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
    1 c. sliced onions
    1 c. sliced mango
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. powdered alum
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and let set in refrigerator for 24 hours. Place in jars.
    Seal.
    Makes 2 pints.
