Grandma'S Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded
    2 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. flavoring
    2 eggs or 3 egg yolks
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. brown or white sugar or honey or corn syrup
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Grease small baking dish.
    Bread crumbs should be dry but not stale, crusts removed.
    Add butter to crumbs.
    Add scalded milk and let stand until slightly cooled.
    Add salt, sugar and beaten eggs.
    Add flavoring and turn into greased pan or individual custard cups.
    Set in pan of hot water and bake at 350\u00b0 until firm, about 1 hour.
