Creamy Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
2 Tbsp. butter
4 1/2 Tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 onion, grated
8 oz. sharp cheese, grated
3 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter
3 c. milk
Preparation

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and put in a 2-quart casserole, greased. Melt butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Remove from heat and add milk gradually. Cook onion and cheese and stir until cheese begins to melt. Pour over macaroni. Sprinkle with bread crumbs mixed with melted butter. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
