Plain Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco (solid)
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add 1 cup of flour, then vanilla, then rest of flour; mix well.
    Knead on floured surface.
    Roll out thin.
    Cut and bake at 325\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool a few minutes before removing from pan.
