Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar (depends on sweetness of apple)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. flour (if apples are juicy)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    6 to 7 c. sliced apples
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour.
    Stir into sliced apples.
    Pour into prepared pie crust that has been sprinkled with about 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs on the bottom. Dot with butter and cover with top crust, that has been perforated to allow steam to escape.
    Top crust may be brushed with milk and sprinkled with sugar, if desired.
    Place pie on lowest shelf in the oven for a crisp crust.
    Bake 50 to 60 minutes in a 425\u00b0 oven. Makes one 9-inch pie.
