Canned Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    10 c. water
    1 c. cornstarch
    sliced apples to fill 7 qt. jars
Preparation
    Cook sauce ingredients in saucepan until bubbly.
    Add 3 tablespoons lemon juice.
