Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth plus 1/4 c. water
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. chopped canned pimientos
    2 Tbsp. sliced green onion
    1 (2 to 3 lb.) broiler/fryer chicken, cut up or 6 boneless breasts
    paprika
Preparation
    Advance preparation:
    Combine all ingredients except chicken pieces.
    Turn into 13 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish that had been sprayed with pam.
    Place chicken on top.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cover, chill.
    (May be done a day ahead.)
    Before serving, bake, covered at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir rice, sprinkle chicken with paprika.
    Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes to 1 hour more until liquid has been absorbed and chicken is tender.
    Stir rice again before serving.
    Serves 4 to 6.
