Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon or almond extract
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add remainder of ingredients in order given.
    Beat well.
    Place in well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake in cold oven at 325\u00b0.
    Cook for 90 minutes and remove from pan when hot.
