24 Hour Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. salt
    large onion
    cucumbers
    1/2 c. fresh dill
Preparation
    Put
    water,
    vinegar
    and salt in 1/2 gallon jar.
    Peel cucumbers
    and
    slice
    them 1/4-inch thick.
    Slice onion.
    Put cucumbers,
    onion and dill in jar.
    Set in refrigerator for 24 hours.
    It's ready to eat and lasts for many days.
