Ingredients

2 c. milk
1/4 c. light Karo
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. white sugar
1 (9-inch) pastry shell
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 or 3 bananas
Preparation

Scald 1 3/4 cups milk with Karo.
Mix remaining ingredients except vanilla and add quickly to milk and Karo combination.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Use meringue or Dream Whip for topping.
