Ingredients

2 lb. 10x sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Sift and weigh sugar; set aside.
Cream together remaining ingredients with mixer.
Add sugar, a little at a time.
Mix until well blended.
Add food coloring as desired.
Yield:
1 cake.
