Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 strips bacon, cut in half and browned (for later use)
1 c. chopped onion
1 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. marjoram
1 medium potato, cubed in 1/2-inch pieces
1 (15 oz.) can creamed corn
1 (12 oz.) can Niblets corn
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation
-
Saute onion in bacon grease until translucent.
Add water, salt, pepper and marjoram.
Bring to slow boil.
Add cubed potato. Bring temperature back to slow boil.
Cook potato slowly.
Add corn and milk.
Add bacon bits before serving.
