Homemade Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    2 to 3 medium potatoes
    1 large onion
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can corn (whole kernel)
    1 can tomato soup
    2 Tbsp. meal
    1/4 c. corn oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Clean cabbage, onions and potatoes; cut up into bite-size pieces.
    Cover with water and cook until tender.
    Add all other ingredients and simmer 30 to 45 minutes.
    Great with fried cornbread.
