Baked Creamy Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. milk, divided
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. quick grits
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Butter a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Bring 2 c. milk and chicken broth to a boil.
    Add grits in a thin stream; cook over low heat for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter, salt and remaining 1/2 c. milk. Beat well and mix in eggs.
    Pour into prepared dish and bake for 50-55 minutes.
