California Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 c. fresh cooked rice
    2 c. sour cream
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 (4 oz.) cans Ortega chiles, drained and halved
    2 c. grated cheese
    parsley
Preparation
    In hot margarine, saute onions about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; stir in rice, sour cream, cottage cheese, salt and pepper. Toss lightly to mix well.
    Layer half rice mixture in lightly greased baking dish, half the chiles and sprinkle with half the cheese; repeat.
    Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes or until bubbly hot in 375\u00b0 oven.
    Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
