Cinnamon Twists(Makes 2 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sour cream
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cake compressed yeast
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    sugar frosting
Preparation
    Heat to lukewarm in a large saucepan the sour cream.
    Remove from heat and stir in sugar, soda and salt.
    Crumble into mixture and stir until dissolved the cake of yeast.
    Add egg, shortening and flour.
    Mix well.
