Buttery Lemon Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 1/3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    2 c. granulated sugar
    7 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Beat butter with 1/2 cup powdered sugar until creamy.
    Add 2 cups flour; beat until blended.
    Spread evenly in a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar; beat until thick and well blended.
    Add juice, 1/3 cup flour and baking powder.
    Beat until blended.
    Pour over crust and return to oven.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar; let cool.
    Cut into squares.
