Cream Of Pumpkin Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 small pumpkin
    4 c. milk
    4 c. water
    3 Tbsp. rice flour or regular flour
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Seed pumpkin, then pare off skin.
    Cut into 1-inch pieces. Put in saucepan; cover with water and bring to a boil.
    Simmer until tender.
    Strain and puree.
    Put back in pan.
    Reserve 1/4 cup of milk, then add remaining milk and water to pan.
    Bring to a simmer.
    Mix flour with reserved milk; stir into pan.
    Continue to simmer over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Blend in butter and season.
    Serve with a bit of sugar on top.
