Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. (canned) milk
1 Tbsp. salad oil
fat for deep frying (375~)
Preparation

First, blend the first 3 ingredients and set aside.
Next, combine the egg, oil and milk in a bowl and beat until thoroughly blended.
Beat in the dry ingredients until batter is smooth. Cover and set aside while preparing onions.
Can use to fry shrimp, also.
